As my first entry into any type of Obergine Bake Off I decided to try and impress with a Salted Caramel and Chocolate Torte.
This was a risk as I had never tried this recipe before but I hope it paid off as I was impressed with the taste and presentation, however we will find out in a few weeks when the results are revealed.

Jason’s Date and Walnut cake was delicious and made even more amazing by the fact that this was his first attempt at baking.
The icing was delightful and the cake perfectly baked(Apparently the same can’t be said for the first attempt). It made an ideal start to the morning with a cup of tea and with his good presentation and original combination of flavours I’m sure he will score highly.
