This was the last week of the Obergine Bake off so it was important for Andy to deliver something impressive to give him a chance of winning the title!
Andy's modestly named Amazing Technicolor Dreamcakes were the brightest offering so far in the Bake Off and I’m sure that he will score highly in presentation. Not only did they look amazing they tasted great; the sponge was moist, soft and perfectly sweet which was complemented well by the creamy swirl of icing that was lathered over the cupcake (very accurately also so it was not dripping down the edges) Points will also be high for Andy’s originality as I have never seen cupcakes quite like these.
Andy has now brought the 2014 Obergine Bake Off to a close and the winners will be announced next month.
