The Obergine Bake Off is now in its second week with Jeremy and Jenny getting us going with two very different but very delicious entries!
Jeremy's Sweetcorn and Bacon Breakfast Muffins
Week one’s offering came from Jeremy in the form of Sweetcorn and Bacon Breakfast Muffins, which seemed popular in the office as a morning treat. Accompanied by a cup of tea the muffins were a perfect start to the day!
Jeremy’s alternative included cheese which proved more popular so we shall see at the end of the competition how this affects the scores.
Jenny's Banana Tarte Tatin
Jenny had been secretive all morning about her bake, keeping us guessing what she had made, but just after lunch she presented us with her very tasty Banana Tarte Tatin.
The sweet dessert, banana, caramel, and a hint on cinnamon, was presented with ice cream which accompanied it brilliantly.
Although Jenny’s entry was not strictly within the rules, I think that will be forgotten because of how good it tasted!

With the standard set high in the first two weeks we’re looking forward to seeing what Elodie has to offer next week and Hugo the week after.
