Andy’s English Pork Pie
After a little delay, we are back with another English entrant, and what a dish Andy Millard cooked up. Although I admit this Oberginer has a sweet spot for pies, these little succulent bite sized pies went down a storm in the whole office. To top it off, Andy was the only entrant to make the accompanying sauce, a delicious sweet chili sauce. Who said an Englishman can’t cook!

Mouth watering? And two per person!
Can we really have a developer win the prize this year, especially since designers have been walking away with it in previous competitions? Well we will find out soon!
Natasha’s Serbian Salad
As our reigning Champion, the stakes were high to deliver a dish that shone from the already impressive crowd. And she didn’t disappoint, as she whipped up delicious dish of bread topped with a variety of sliced and diced vegetables in a mayonnaise sauce.

She even provided reading material! Tourist hotspots around Serbia, my next holiday I think!
Will we have a new champion within our mists? It’s going to be a close call, and there are not many entrants left!
Jeremy’s Russian Pelmeni
What do you cook when you are part Russian, part Australian, part English and was a holder of a USA passport? Well this was the dilemma Jeremy Anderson found himself in, and what better way to make that decision than trust a simple recipe from his grandmother (from Russia), because we all know they are the best cooks!

I admit this photo doesn’t do the dish justice, trust me it was delicious!
These little dumplings (that apparently took hours and hours to make … so the chef said!) accompanied by fried bacon make up Russian Pelmeni, a delicious dish that even his Grandma would have been proud of. But will it stand out from the rest of the competition? Stayed tuned.
Hugo’s Mexican Sopez and Pambazos
It’s not only Burritos and Fajitas that Mexicans can cook, how about Sopes and Pambazos? Never heard of them, me neither until today, as Hugo Nava Kopp brought in these delicious and interesting dishes.

Who doesn’t like Mexican food! Very tasty.
This Latin flavour has lit up the competition, and with only one entrant left the winner will be announced soon!
Jerome’s French Crêpes
Technically it broke all the rules, not only delayed but also using sweet ingredients (although arguably the fillings were provided by other colleagues). Jerome Cherbonnel got in to the spirit of the competition and cooked up some fantastic crêpes, and what better filling to put in a crêpe? Nutella of course, so although it was sweet, all can be forgiven!

Light and bouncy, the French know how to cook pancakes!
But this is a serious competition and the rules clearly state points will be deducted for delayed entries and it must be savory. There is always next time to get your hands on that trophy …
